C Yallop’s mother was eventually moved into residential care as it was difficult for her to stay in her own home. The care she received by Home Choice enabled Mrs Y to stay at home longer but with her best interests at heart the decision was made for her to be moved. K Beale, Hayley H and Lilian B all did such a good job in caring for my mother – she misses you all so very much.

News - Sheffield branch joins the Home Choice Care team

Welcome to all the Service users and Care Workers of our new branch in Sheffield. From 4th June we are working in partnership with Sheffield Social Services (also rated as a 3-star providers) as a block contract provider for over 1200 hours of care per week.

A major advertising campaign begins for new Care Workers in the local papers and Hallam FM Radio.

Julie Green, Regional Care Director, will be in charge of the branch for the immediate future.

As with every HCC branch all our employees will be eligible for share options after the first 3 months, so from September 4th every Care worker can join the ownership of Home Choice Care.

We will all be working hard to achieve 3-star status over these first months in the great City of Sheffield.
