Daughter of service user wrote to say a special thanks to all carers who enabled her dad to stay in his own home. He enjoyed their visits and found them fun and a comfort to him, a special thanks to Julia Brown, Kim Mixture and Beth Goode, he was especially fond of her, thank you.

I am originally from New Zealand and started work here over 15 years ago as Registered Nurse, and then I moved on to work in Health and Social Care as a Care Coordinator.  I then worked for 7 years managing an office which specialised in Australasian Nurses and Care Workers and went on to become the Area Manager overseeing 13 branches and several large NHS contracts. In addition to this, I became increasingly involved in Community Care and Private Home care.  I have spent a lot of time working with specific ethnic client groups and have a passion for meeting the diverse cultural, social and religious needs of the individuals in our communities. I am also passionate about training and development and ensuring that both care workers and staff have the skills to continue to provide the best possible care for our clients.
