Joanne Apsey (otherwise known as Jo) joined HCC in 2006. She works full time and has had 11 compliments made from both families and service users regarding the excellent standard of care she provides. Jo enjoys her work and is always able to help. She goes above and beyond her call of duty. Recently Jo attended a client where, upon arrival and entering the premises, she found her service user on the floor. The lady had fallen and was choking - Jo's rapid and professional response was to put the service user into the recovery position and clear her airway. Paramedics said that Jo had indeed saved this clients life with her quick thinking and calm approach. Well done Jo.
