Outstanding care worker receives award Cheryl is one incredible lady. Cheryl works 40 to 50 hours a week caring for people who need support to live in their own homes.

Cheryl has just been awarded Care Worker of the Month, for Home Choice Care Ltd, Gravesend. Asked why she continues to work so hard she said “I get real satisfaction from my work knowing that I have been able to help and support the needy in their own homes to remain independent as possible.”

Cheryl's history...

Cheryl joined Home Choice Care Ltd as a Care Worker in January 2007. Cheryl has built up a great working relationship with all her regular Service User's who always praise her highly.

Prior to becoming a care Worker Cheryl had taken time off from working to Care for her Mother. This is when Cheryl realised that she enjoyed caring and wanted to be in a job with real job satisfasction.

Home Choice Care is a 3 star (excellent) Home Care provider, as rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection, with other branches in Essex, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Oxford, Leighton Buzzard, and Sheffield. Each of our branches is situated within the actual community, it serves. We recruit from within that community to ensure we provide a highly localised service. Home Choice Care provides practical support and personal care services enabling people to live safely in their own homes. They are able to provide a wide range of specialist services as well as generic domiciliary care and provide support through to end life.
